Lifestyle Newborn Session in Kailua
I often do newborn sessions in the family's home. This makes for a comfortable situation for the baby as well as the recovering mama. It makes it easy to take feeding breaks if we need and showcases those sweet early days of snuggling a sleepy newborn. When I showed up at their house I was fully prepared to do the entire photography session indoors with all of my usual lifestyle newborn ideas. Mom walked me through the house as I looked for the best lighting. At the end of the tour she walked me to the backyard and asked if it would work. My jaw dropped and out went all of my plans to shoot indoors. I couldn't not take advantage of their lush Hawaii mountain views from the backyard. This was by far the easiest and sleepiest newborn I have ever taken photos of. He was so perfectly sweet the entire session, making my job incredibly easy. I love how this outdoor newborn session turned out.
